Bask is an Indian subcontinental medicinal plant. It grows more in moist, plains. Most are born near the locality. 1 to 2 m with light yellow stalks. Tall trees are almost always green in season. The spearhead leaves are quite large. Flowers bloom on dense, small spikes. The stalk of the spike is smaller than the leaf. The spikes have leaf-shaped subunits with thick and thick veins on them. Flower clusters (corolla or petals) white. It has purple spots on it. The fruit is betel-shaped; Seed filling.
Medicinal properties of Basok :
Fresh or dried leaves are used medicinally. Bask leaves contain an alkaline substance and oil called vasicin. Basak is famous as an expectorant for activating the salivary glands of the airways. Bask leaf extract, juice or syrup liquefies mucus and helps in excretion. It is especially useful in colds, coughs and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract. However, playing in large quantities causes vomiting, at least nausea or vomiting, discomfort. Scientific experiments have proven the medicinal properties of bask.
Its roots, leaves, flowers, bark are all used.
Application:
1. Basok leaf juice 1-2 teaspoons to half a teaspoon of honey to play with the child’s good benefits.
2. Half an hour before bathing the juice of bask leaves on the head for a few days, the lice die. In hives and acne (early stage of boils), applying bask leaves on the scalp reduces swelling and pain.
3. If phlegm is accumulated in the chest and if there is shortness of breath or coughing for it, then 1-2 teaspoons of Basok leaf juice and 1-2 teaspoons of Conticaris, 1 teaspoon of honey are taken and the phlegm comes out easily.
4. If there is irritation and pain in the urine, 2-3 teaspoons of candy and 1-2 teaspoons of syrup in the flower beet of Basok can be taken to cure this disease.
5. In case of fever or mild fever, 5-10 grams of Basok root should be washed and crushed and boiled in 100 ml of water.
. Take 25 ml and strain it and take it twice a day to get rid of both fever and cough.
. If 10-12 pieces of turmeric leaves of Basak are rubbed together on itching or itching, it will be cured in a few days.
. Bask leaves or flower juice 1-2 teaspoons of honey or 1 teaspoon of sugar taken daily with jaundice rage benefits.
9. In case of pyrexia or bleeding gums, crush 20 bask leaves, boil them in 2 cups of water, reduce them to 1 cup and rub them in lukewarm condition.
Herbal medicine:
* If there are worms in the stomach of the child, if you take decoction of basak skin, its bitter taste will come out.
* Those who have asthma, they dry the bask leaf, the leaf is cooked like bidi or cigar and smoking with it relieves shortness of breath.
* Those who have the smell of sweat on their body will get rid of the bad smell if they apply the juice of bask leaves.
* Basakapata juice and conch powder mixed with regular use will lighten the color.
* After putting three or four bask leaves in a jug of water and soaking it for three or four hours, the water becomes pure. Then you can use.
* Regular consumption of leaf juice cures convulsions.
* Basak leaf juice applied to the head lice go away.
* Bask leaf or flower juice with one or two teaspoons of honey or sugar is good for jaundice.
* If there is ringworm in the body, it is better to apply bask leaf juice.
Other benefits:
Bask leaves are used as green food and yellow color is obtained from the leaves. Bask leaves contain some alkaline substances which prevent the growth of fungi and insects and are used for packing and preserving fruits.
